The clipboard is made from 3mm thick birch plywood. Cross-glued layers make it very sturdy and robust despite its slim build. The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish. The corners are rounded and the finish is clean. Every board is made in our own Bütic production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material. Small differences in shade and grain, as well as fine knots, are part of it and make each piece one of a kind. This is not a flaw but genuine material.
