Wood is a purely natural material. Small differences in shade and grain, as well as the occasional knot, are normal. They make every board one of a kind and are not a defect. Good to know about the clipboard

Birch plywood consists of several veneer layers glued crosswise. That's why it is remarkably stable even when thin. It warps much less than solid wood of the same thickness. This is why 3 mm is enough here. The board is light in the hand and still gives you a firm writing surface. Ideal if you carry it around all day or keep taking it off the wall.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Simply wipe the varnished surface with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged wetness and harsh cleaners. That way, the wood and the Toscana pattern stay looking good for a long time.

Which way does the wood grain run? The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of whether you order portrait or landscape. This is because we optimise our cutouts to avoid unnecessary waste. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement. Just send us a short message.
