Material & finish

The clipboard is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cut from 3 mm birch plywood. Despite its slim thickness, this is very stable and robust. The rounded corners and clean finish make it pleasant to hold, with no sharp edges. Two coats of water-based clear varnish seal the lemon yellow surface. They protect it in everyday use. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots can vary. That makes every piece one of a kind.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made of several thin layers of wood glued crosswise. This keeps the board stable even at just 3 mm thick. It warps much less than solid wood of the same thickness. That's why birch plywood works so well for a clipboard. It should feel light in the hand and still give you a firm writing board.

Care & durability

There's not much to do. Thanks to the clear varnish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaners. That way the lemon yellow surface stays fresh for a long time.

Can I hang the clipboard on the wall? Yes, it has two hanging eyelets, one at the top left and one at the top right. So it hangs straight and secure on the wall in portrait format.
