The cutout is made from 3 mm thick, high-density HDF/MDF fibreboard. It is laser cut in Bütic's own production in Pößneck. That's why the edges are clean and smooth. The surface is natural, not varnished and not glazed. So paint and glue stick well. Good to know: pressed wood fibres always show slightly different textures. Some are lighter, some darker, sometimes with small inclusions. This isn't a flaw. It makes every piece unique.

Can I paint the cutout and stick things on it? Yes. The HDF comes in its natural state. You can paint it, colour it in or stick things on it. Paint adheres well to the untreated surface.

How tall is the ambulance at my chosen width? For reference: at a width of 10 cm, the height is 6.5 cm. The proportions stay the same at every size.

Why do the boards look different? HDF boards are made from pressed wood fibres. These can vary in shade and show small impurities. That's exactly what makes every piece unique.

Can I return the item? No. The cutout is made to your ordered size after purchase. It is therefore excluded from exchange.
