Good to know: HDF boards are made of pressed wood fibres and always show different textures. Some fibres are lighter, some darker, and there may be small specks now and then. This makes every cutout one of a kind and is not a defect. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays stable even when thin.
