Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The children are sitting at the kitchen table. Brushes and paints are ready. All that's missing is a blank to work on. This MDF triangle with rounded corners and one hole is made for exactly that. It has a clear shape, smooth edges and an untreated surface. Garland, bunting or a hanging decoration for Christmas: in no time, the plain triangle becomes something you made yourself.
What changes for you

- The untreated MDF surface takes paint, varnish and glue reliably and evenly.
- You can hang up your finished piece without drilling. The 3 mm hole is already there. Just thread a ribbon through.
- You get exactly the size your project needs. Choose a width from 5 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- Planning group projects or larger decorating jobs is easy. The triangle is available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Why this MDF triangle makes a difference day to day
In crafting, the blank often decides whether a project is fun or grinds to a halt. With a cleanly laser-cut shape in exactly the right size, you can simply start. No sawing or reworking first. That leaves the afternoon free for making things: Christmas cards with the children, a garland for the nursery or signs for your market stall.
Material & finish
The triangle is made from 3 mm HDF/MDF fibreboard. It is sturdy enough for garlands, hanging tags and model making, yet easy to work with. Laser cutting gives smooth edges without splinters. The rounded corners make the shape comfortable to hold, even when children join in the crafting. The board is left natural, neither varnished nor glazed. You decide whether to paint it, stick things on it or decorate it. Fibreboard is made from pressed natural fibres. So the fibres vary in shade and may show small irregularities. This is not a defect. It makes every piece unique. Every triangle is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays stable even when thin.

How to use the MDF triangle
- Crafting with children: each child paints their own triangle. In the end, a colourful bunting garland hangs in the children's room, and everyone is proud of it.
- During Advent: make hanging decorations for Christmas or numbers for your homemade advent calendar. The 3 mm hole means hanging them up takes seconds.
- For gifts of money and small presents: a triangle with writing on it makes a lovingly designed gift out of an envelope. This works for Mother's Day or Father's Day too.
- In model making: use the precisely laser-cut shape as a component or template. You can carry on working without tedious sawing.
- In a café, bakery or at the weekly market: triangles with writing on them work as matching price or variety labels. The counter looks tidy. New labels are quick to make, especially with a set of 25, 50 or 100.
Good to know about MDF and HDF
MDF boards are made from finely pressed wood fibres. Unlike solid wood, they have no continuous grain and no knots. That is exactly why they are so popular for crafting. Paint, decoupage and lettering look calm and clean on the even surface. The wood structure does not show through.
Care & durability
There's not much to do: just store it somewhere dry. As the board is untreated, protect it from constant moisture. Or seal it with paint or varnish of your choice. That way your triangle keeps its shape and looks good for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint or decorate the triangle? Yes. The MDF board is untreated and in its natural state. You can paint it, stick things on it, decorate it or varnish it, just as your project needs.
Do I need to sand the edges? No. The triangle is laser-cut, so it has smooth edges. You can start decorating straight away.
How big is the hole? The hole is 3 mm in diameter. It fits ribbons, cords or wire for hanging.
Why do the boards look slightly different? HDF/MDF is made from pressed wood fibres. These can vary in shade and show small irregularities. This is typical of the material and makes every piece one of a kind.
