Material & finish

The triangle is made from 3 mm thick HDF/MDF fibreboard. It is laser-cut in Bütic's own production in Pößneck. That's why the edges are evenly smooth and the finish is clean. The surface is untreated. It takes paint, glue and pens well and leaves every design option open to you. Good to know: HDF boards are made from pressed wood fibres and always show slightly different textures. Some fibres are lighter, some darker, and now and then there are small specks. This makes every piece unique. It is not a defect but part of the material. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays sturdy even when thin.
