Why this Christmas moose makes a difference
Shop-bought decorations look the same in every home. A moose you've decorated yourself tells your story. Leave it natural, paint it wintry white or let children decorate it in bright colours. In the window, on a branch or on the festive table, it brings a calm, Scandinavian-style mood into your home. That's the mood that makes Advent so cosy. And because you decide on size and design, it fits exactly where you want it.
Material & finish
The moose is made from 3 mm MDF or HDF. This is high-density wood fibre that keeps its shape and feels pleasantly smooth. Laser cutting gives clean, smooth edges and the typical brown rim. This gives the shape a finished look with no extra work. The surface is untreated, not varnished and not glazed. That makes it ideal for painting, gluing or oiling, because paint and glue stick well. Wood fibre is a natural material. It may be lighter or darker and can show small inclusions. That makes every piece unique.

How to use the Christmas moose
- Crafting with children on an Advent Sunday: every child paints their own moose. At the end, a small herd hangs in the window, and everyone is proud of it.
- On presents and Christmas cards: use a small moose as a gift tag or glue it on as a motif. Your parcel stands out straight away under the tree.
- On the festive table: put a moose at every place and write a name on it. Your guests find their seat and have a little keepsake to take home.
- In model making or a winter landscape: the flat cutout fits into dioramas and decorative scenes. It adds a moose silhouette.
- For cafés, bakeries or shops: with sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces, you can decorate counters, shop windows or price tags in a matching style. They're quick to set up. And you can reorder them in any size you need.
Good to know about the moose
In Scandinavia especially, the moose is seen as a symbol of the North. That makes it a fitting motif for the Nordic-inspired Christmas decorations that have been popular for years. So the motif suits not just Advent but the whole winter season. Use it for window decorations, table decorations and gift tags.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Keep the untreated moose dry and away from constant moisture. Then it will keep its shape and smooth surface for a long time. If you want to use it outdoors, a suitable coat of paint or a sealant will protect the material.
