Why this angel makes a difference in everyday life
Ready-made Christmas decorations look the same in every home. An angel you have decorated yourself tells of the afternoon it was made. You decide on the colour, pattern and size. That way you make decorations that really suit your home. And when the little angels hang in the window, on a twig or on a present, a calm, warm Advent mood appears all by itself.
Material & finish
The angel is made from 3 mm MDF or HDF. This is a high-density wood fibreboard that keeps its shape and feels pleasantly smooth. Laser cutting gives it a precise outline with the typical brown edge. This edge gives the figure a fine, finished border. The surface is left natural, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, oil it, stick things on it or decorate it, just as you like. Wood fibres are a natural material. Individual fibres vary in shade, and small irregularities can occur. This makes every piece one of a kind.

How to use the little angel
- Crafting with children on an Advent weekend: each child paints their own angel. In the end, a small gallery full of memories hangs on the tree.
- As a gift tag: a small angel with the recipient's name on the ribbon. The parcel looks lovingly made even before it is unwrapped.
- On Christmas cards or money gifts: stick on a flat 5 cm angel. A simple card becomes a small keepsake.
- In model making and decoration projects: you can decorate the clear outline, write on it or build it into scenes. It works from shop windows to nativity scenes.
- For cafés, bakeries or market stalls: with a set of 25 or 50 angels, you can decorate your counter and display in a uniform way. It is quick to set up. You can match the size exactly to your space.
Good to know about angels
For centuries, angels have been seen as messengers and symbols of protection. In the Christmas story they announce the good news. That is why angel figures are still part of Advent today. This makes the angel a classic Christmas decoration. It is also a fitting motif for christenings and First Communion, or as a small sign of connection.
Care & durability
You don't need to do much. Kept dry, the untreated fibreboard keeps its shape and pale look for a long time. Avoid constant damp and wet. If you paint, oil or varnish the angel, the surface becomes more resistant.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the angel or stick things on it? Yes. The surface is untreated. You can paint it, oil it, stick things on it or decorate it. This makes it ideal for crafting and decorating.
What is the brown edge? The angel is laser-cut. The brown edge forms during cutting and is part of its typical look. The edges are smooth.
How tall is the angel at a given width? As a guide: at a width of 10 cm, the height is approx. 7.5 cm. Other sizes keep the same proportions.
Why don't all the angels look exactly the same? HDF is made of pressed wood fibres, a natural material. The fibres vary in shade and can show small irregularities. This makes every piece unique.
Who are the sets for? The sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 suit craft groups, schools and nurseries. They also work for cafés, restaurants, bakeries or shop decorations with a uniform motif.
This is more than a wooden cutout. It is about the moment when your hand-painted angel hangs on the twig, the candles are lit and you think: we made that ourselves. Just choose your size and quantity. You design the rest.
