The angel is laser-cut from 3 mm MDF or HDF. These are high-density wood fibre boards. They keep their shape and feel pleasantly smooth. The laser-cut edges are clean and have the typical brown edge, which gives the motif a fine outline. The material is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That makes it an ideal base if you want to paint, decorate or oil the angel. Wood fibres are a natural material. So the boards show structures of varying lightness and small irregularities. That's exactly what makes every piece unique. The angel is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
