Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Your club's anniversary is coming up, a keen golfer has a birthday, or you're simply planning a craft afternoon with the kids. And you still need the right motif. This golfer made of HDF is a silhouette for crafting, painting and decorating. You design it exactly the way you want. From small table scatter to large wall decorations: you choose the size that suits your occasion.
What changes for you
- You can start designing straight away, with no sanding first. The silhouette is laser-cut, so it has smooth edges.
- Your paints, glue and embellishments stick directly to the surface. That's because the HDF comes untreated in its natural state. It is neither varnished nor glazed.
- You'll find the right size for every project. Choose any height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You can also kit out larger projects, such as tournament gifts or decorations for a whole banquet table. The cutout is available individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.
- You get consistently clean workmanship – made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
Why this golfer cutout makes a difference
A motif that really fits the occasion turns ordinary decoration into something personal. Your guests see at a glance what it's all about. Whether at the club party, a milestone birthday or the prize-giving after the tournament. And because you design the blank yourself, you create something one of a kind: your design, your colours, your style.
Material & finish
The cutout is made of 3 mm thick HDF/MDF fibreboard. This is a dimensionally stable material made from pressed wood fibres. It is easy to glue things onto, coat and paint. Laser cutting gives smooth, precise edges. So there are no rough spots to bother you when crafting with children. As a natural material, the board shows fibres in different shades and may have small irregularities. This makes each piece one of a kind, not faulty. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays stable even when thin.

How to use the golfer cutout
- For a golf fan's birthday: paint the silhouette in their favourite colours and clip a banknote to it. That's a personal money gift, and it goes down better than any envelope.
- In the golf club or clubhouse: several figures on the wall or on the tables give tournaments and members' parties a consistent look. With the sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces, you can quickly kit out large events too.
- As a tournament gift or winner's prize: add a name and date, and the cutout becomes a small keepsake. It will last longer than the scorecard.
- Crafting with children: each child designs their own golfer with paint, glitter or paper. At the end, a whole team stands on the table.
- As table decoration at golf-themed celebrations: one motif at each place, and the theme of the evening is set before the first course.
- In model making: the precisely laser-cut shape fits into dioramas and landscapes as a figure.
Good to know about the golfer
Golf as we know it today began in Scotland. The game is recorded there as early as the 15th century. So the sport is rich in traditions and rituals. That is exactly why the motif works so well as a gift and decoration. For most golfers, the game means far more than just a club and a ball.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Store the untreated cutout in a dry place and keep it away from constant moisture. Then the board stays dimensionally stable and the surface stays ready to take paint and glue. Once designed, you'll enjoy your motif for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the cutout straight away? Yes. The HDF is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Paints and glue stick directly to the surface.
Do I need to sand the edges? No. The silhouette is laser-cut, so it has smooth edges. You can start designing straight away.
Why do the boards look different? HDF boards are made from pressed wood fibres. These can vary in lightness and show small impurities. This is typical of the material and makes each piece unique.
Is the golfer also available in larger quantities? Yes. As well as single pieces, you can order sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces. Handy for clubs, tournaments and larger celebrations.
Is the cutout suitable for outdoor use? The material is untreated and should stay dry. You should avoid constant moisture.
What matters is not the fibreboard. It's the moment when the guest of honour unwraps a gift you designed yourself. Or when the table at the club evening tells the story everyone shares. Just choose your size and quantity – you design the rest.
