The club night is coming up and you still need a tournament prize. Or you're looking for a concrete idea for a money gift for a golf fan. This golf player made of HDF is just right for that. It's a cleanly lasered golfer silhouette in its natural shape. You can paint it, decorate it with paper and design it exactly the way you like. A plain wooden cutout becomes table decoration for the clubhouse, a Father's Day gift or a keepsake of a great tournament.

What changes for you

  • You can start painting, decorating or writing on it straight away. The HDF is untreated and takes paint and glue well.
  • Your decoration looks neat without any extra finishing. That's thanks to the smooth laser-cut edges.
  • You'll find the right size for every idea, from a small gift tag to a large figure. The cutout can be ordered from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can easily supply larger projects such as club parties or crafting groups. Sets of 10 to 100 pieces are available.
  • You're holding a piece from our own production in Pößneck. It's made in Thuringia and neatly finished.

Why this golfer cutout makes a difference

A golf motif turns general decoration into something personal. Anyone who loves golf will recognise themselves in it. Use it on the dressed table in the clubhouse, attached to a gift or as a home-made tournament prize. The silhouette shows at a glance what it's all about. You don't need many words. And because you design it yourself, every piece is your own work.

Material & finish

The golf player is laser-cut from 3 mm thick HDF/MDF fibreboard. This gives smooth edges and a clean outline, so nothing gets in your way while you craft. The board is left natural, neither varnished nor glazed. That makes it a blank canvas for acrylic paints, napkin decoupage or paper. Good to know: HDF is made of pressed wood fibres. These can vary in shade and show small irregularities. This makes every piece unique. It's a feature of the material, not a flaw. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays stable even when thin.

How to use the golfer cutout

  • At the club party in the clubhouse: a painted silhouette at every place setting. Your table decoration picks up the theme of the evening before the first course is served.
  • As a DIY money gift: you decorate the golfer and attach the banknote to it. A plain envelope becomes a gift with a wink.
  • For Father's Day or a birthday: the children paint the little golfer themselves. The golf fan receiving it is sure to put it on display.
  • For tournament prizes and awards: add a name and date to the cutout. It becomes a keepsake that lasts longer than any certificate in a drawer.
  • In the golf shop, the café at the course or at the club prize-giving: with sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces, you can decorate the counter, shop window or prize table in a uniform style. It's quick to set up and easy to recognise.
  • For crafting afternoons with children: every child gets their own figure to paint. It's a manageable project, and the result goes home with a proud owner.

Good to know about golf

Golf as we know it today has its roots in 15th-century Scotland. The Old Course at St Andrews is still regarded as the home of the sport. This long tradition makes golf motifs a good fit for anything to do with the game. That includes club parties, anniversaries and gifts for your playing partner.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Store the unfinished cutout in a dry place and wipe it with a dry cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture, as the material is left natural. If you paint or varnish the golfer, you protect the surface even more. That way your decoration will last a long time.

Options & what's included

  • Height of your choice: 5 cm to 50 cm, in 1 cm steps
  • Available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100
  • Supplied in natural finish: untreated, without varnish or glaze

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the golfer or stick things on it? Yes. The HDF is untreated and is suitable for priming, painting and gluing. For example, you can use acrylic paints, paper or napkin decoupage.

Are the edges smooth? Yes. The silhouette is laser-cut, so it has smooth edges. You don't need to sand it before decorating.

Is the cutout suitable for outdoor use? It is delivered unfinished and is therefore intended for indoor use. For outdoor use, you should protect the surface with paint or varnish.

Why do the cutouts look slightly different? HDF is made from pressed wood fibres. These can vary in shade and show small irregularities. This is typical of the material and makes every piece unique.

A wooden cutout is only the starting point. What counts is the moment the golf fan unwraps a gift you've designed yourself. Or when your guests in the clubhouse look at the table decoration with a smile. Just choose your size and quantity. You design the rest your way.
