A golf fan's birthday is coming up, or the club party is getting closer. And you're still looking for a decoration idea that really suits the occasion. This golfer silhouette made of HDF brings golf straight to the table, the wall or the gift. Paint it, decorate it with stickers or use it for crafts, just as you like. You can choose sizes from 5 to 50 cm. Made for your next golf project.

What changes for you

  • You can design the figure exactly to your taste. The HDF is untreated, so you can paint it, stick things on it or decorate it.
  • You can start straight away without sanding. The silhouette is laser-cut and has smooth edges. That's nice when crafting with children too.
  • Your decoration always fits the setting. Choose anything from small 5 cm table scatter to a large 50 cm wall decoration, in 1 cm steps.
  • You can decorate larger occasions without stress. With sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces, you don't need to reorder single pieces.
  • Your gift shows real effort. A hand-painted golfer says more than any shop-bought card.

Why this golfer silhouette makes a difference in everyday life

Golf decorations aren't easy to find. Usually the only option is to make your own. With a ready-made blank in your hand, a vague idea quickly becomes a real project. You don't have to saw or trace templates. You can focus on the design. The result is table decoration or a gift that clearly belongs to the occasion and doesn't look random.

Material & finish

The silhouette is made of 3 mm thick HDF/MDF fibreboard. It is sturdy enough to stand up, hang and work with. At the same time, it is easy to paint and to stick things on. The laser cut gives clean, smooth edges that don't fray. The board is left natural, neither varnished nor glazed. This is why paint and glue stick well. The wood fibres vary in shade and may show small irregularities. This is not a defect. It makes every piece one of a kind. Every figure is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays sturdy even when thin.

How to use the golfer silhouette

  • For a golfer's birthday: a painted golf player on the gift. As soon as it's unwrapped, it's clear you've put some thought into it.
  • Making money gifts: stick banknotes to the figure's golf club as a little flag. A gift people will still be talking about over coffee.
  • At the club party or tournament: spread figures in different sizes across the tables. The decoration is done in minutes, and golf is the theme everywhere.
  • Crafting with children: Grandpa plays golf? Then paint the silhouette together in bright colours. The result gets a place of honour on the shelf.
  • In model making: the flat silhouette works as a scenery figure in dioramas and landscapes. It brings the scene to life.
  • In a sports shop or clubhouse: large silhouettes in the shop window or on the counter show at a glance that you offer golf products.

Good to know about the golfer

Golf has its roots in 15th-century Scotland, and St Andrews is still known as the “Home of Golf”. This long tradition makes the motif ideal for special occasions. Use it as a reminder of a first tournament, as a prize at the club championship or as decoration for the start of the season.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Store the silhouette in a dry place and protect it from constant moisture, as the HDF is untreated. This keeps the surface flat, and it will still take paint cleanly later on.

Options & what's included

  • Height of your choice: 5 cm to 50 cm, in 1 cm steps
  • Available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100
  • The MDF silhouette is delivered untreated in its natural form – paints and decorating materials are not included

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the silhouette or stick things on it? Yes. The HDF is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. So acrylic paints, pens, glue and decoupage with napkins hold well.

Do I need to sand the edges? No. The figure is laser-cut and has smooth edges. You can start designing straight away.

Why do the figures look slightly different? HDF boards are made of pressed wood fibres. These vary in shade and may show small irregularities. That's exactly what makes every piece unique.

Is the figure suitable for outdoor use? The material is untreated and should be protected from constant moisture. For outdoor use, we recommend an opaque, weatherproof paint or sealant.

What quantities are available? You can order single pieces or choose sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces. Handy for club parties and larger craft sessions.

What counts is the moment the golf fan spots their favourite motif at the table. Lovingly designed by you. Just choose your size and quantity. You'll do the rest with a brush and your imagination.
