Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Spring is around the corner and the Easter table needs laying. But you're still missing the motif that ties it all together. The sitting MDF wooden bunny is a blank that becomes exactly what you make of it. Painted by children, scattered across the table or hung on the wall by the front door. You can choose a height from 3 to 50 cm. So it fits your next craft project.
What changes for you
- You'll find exactly the size that suits your idea. The bunny can be ordered from 3 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps. From table scatter to a large window motif.
- You can start painting, gluing or oiling straight away. The HDF is untreated, so it takes paint and glue directly.
- Your craft afternoon with children stays relaxed. The laser-cut edges are smooth, so small hands won't catch on rough spots.
- You'll always have enough motifs to hand for Easter, spring decorations or gift tags. Choose from sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
- Every bunny you give or decorate with is made in our own production in Pößneck.
Why this wooden bunny makes a difference
Ready-made decorations look the same in every home. A wooden blank, on the other hand, becomes your own piece. Lay it plain and natural on the breakfast table or decorate it in bright colours with the children. You can paint, glue or write on the bunny however you like. It turns an ordinary afternoon into a small shared project. And when guests ask where the decoration is from, you can say: we made it ourselves.
Material & finish
The bunny is made from 3 mm HDF and laser-cut. That gives it smooth edges and the typical brown rim, which outlines the shape with a fine contour. The surface is untreated, not varnished and not glazed. So you can paint it, glue things onto it or oil it, just as you like. HDF is made from pressed wood fibres, a purely natural material. The fibres vary in shade and may show small irregularities. That makes every bunny one of a kind. No two pieces are exactly alike. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays stable even when thin.

How to use the wooden bunny
- Crafting with children: each child paints their own bunny. In the end, a whole bunny family sits on the windowsill, and everyone is proud of it.
- On the Easter table: scatter small bunnies between plates and napkins. Your table looks lovingly laid without much effort.
- As a gift tag: attach a bunny with a message to an Easter present or a gift of money. The wrapping then carries a handwritten greeting.
- As wall or window decoration: a large bunny up to 50 cm tall brings spring into your home. Use it in the hallway, at the window or in the children's room.
- In your business: bakery, café or shop. With sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100, you can decorate your counter and shop window in a uniform seasonal look. There's no need to source each piece separately.
Good to know about the Easter bunny
For centuries, the hare has been a symbol of spring and fertility. The egg-bringing Easter bunny was first mentioned in writing as early as the 17th century. That's why the motif suits more than the Easter basket. It works for all your spring decorations, from the table and the window to gifts.
Care & durability
There isn't much to do. If needed, simply dust it with a dry cloth. As the HDF is untreated, it's best to keep it away from water and constant damp. That way your bunny keeps its shape and surface for many springs to come. If you'd like to make it more resistant, you can paint or oil it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the bunny or glue things onto it? Yes. The HDF is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, glue onto it, oil it or decorate it in other ways.
Where does the brown rim on the edges come from? The bunny is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown laser edge. The edges are smooth.
Do all the bunnies look exactly the same? The shape does, the surface not quite. HDF is made from natural fibres. These can vary in shade and show small irregularities. Every piece is one of a kind.
Which size is right for me? As a guide: at 10 cm tall, the bunny is 7 cm wide. Small sizes from 3 cm work well as table scatter. For windows and walls, choose the large sizes up to 50 cm.
Is the bunny suitable for outdoor use? The wood is unfinished and should be protected from wet. For outdoor use, we recommend a protective coat of paint.
An MDF cutout is only the starting point. What counts is the afternoon of painting and laughing at the kitchen table. And the bunny that comes out again every year with the Easter decorations. Just choose your size and quantity, and your next craft project can begin.
