Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Easter is coming and the table is laid. You're still missing the small detail that turns your festive table into a spring table. An MDF bunny with carrot is just right for that. Use it as a delicate silhouette at each guest's place, as a hanging decoration on your Easter branches or as a large motif in the shop window. The cutout is untreated, so you decide how it ends up looking: left natural, painted or decorated with paper and stickers.
What changes for you
- You'll find exactly the size that suits your idea. The bunny can be ordered from 5 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps. That covers everything from a small table scatter figure to a shop window display.
- You can start crafting straight away, with children too. The HDF is untreated. You can paint it, glue things to it, coat it or oil it.
- Your motif looks decorative even on its own. The face and outlines are engraved as shallow cut lines. The laser-cut edge gives the figure a warm brown border.
- You save time on larger projects. With sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces, you'll have enough figures in stock for nurseries, craft groups or shop decorations.
- You can keep working without fuss. The laser-cut edges are smooth, free of splinters and need no finishing.
Why this wooden bunny makes a difference in everyday life
Shop-bought Easter decorations often look the same everywhere. An untreated wooden cutout lets you make something that shows your own style. Paint it with the children at the kitchen table. Or leave it as a calm, natural motif in your spring decorations. That way the untreated wooden bunny suits your home as well as a shop counter. It takes up little space and needs little effort.
Material & finish
The bunny with carrot is laser-cut from 3 mm HDF in Bütic's own production in Pößneck. That is where the typical brown edge comes from, which gives the design depth. The top shows the fine contour cut. The underside is left natural. HDF is made of pressed wood fibres, a purely natural material. The fibres vary in shade and may show small irregularities. This makes every piece one of a kind and is not a defect. Clean processing means you can work on each figure right away. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays sturdy even when thin.

Facts about the Easter Bunny
For centuries, the hare has been a symbol of fertility and the start of spring. The egg-bringing Easter hare was already mentioned in writing in the 17th century. So the motif doesn't just suit the Easter table. It fits all your spring decorations, from the first March window to the display in your shop.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. If needed, simply dust the figures with a dry cloth. The HDF is untreated, so protect the figures from wet and constant moisture. Indoors, they will keep their even surface for a long time. If you want to display them outdoors, paint or oil them first.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the bunny or glue things to it? Yes. The HDF is untreated. You can paint it, glue things to it, coat it or oil it. Paint adheres well to the natural surface.
Why does the figure have a brown edge? The bunny is laser-cut, and this creates the typical brown edge. It is part of the process and gives the motif a clear, warm outline.
Are both sides the same? No. The top side has the engraved outline with face and lines. The underside is plain and smooth.
Do all the figures look exactly the same? The shape is identical, but the material is not quite. HDF is made of wood fibres that may vary in shade and show small irregularities. This is a feature of the natural material and makes every piece unique.
Is the figure suitable for outdoor use? Untreated, it belongs indoors. With a protective coat of paint or oil, you can also prepare it for sheltered outdoor areas.
What matters is more than a wooden cutout. It's the moment the children set up their painted bunnies and spring suddenly joins you at the table. Just choose your size. Or pick a set for your next craft project together.
