The first rays of sunshine fall through the window. Your windowsill is still waiting for a bit of spring. With the bunny family made of HDF, you bring a design into your home that you can paint, decorate or leave natural, just as you like. It's made for your Easter decorations. Small for the table or large for the shop window: you choose the size.

What changes for you

  • You design your Easter decorations exactly the way you imagine them. The HDF is untreated, so you can paint it, stick things on it, coat it or oil it.
  • You'll find the right size for every spot, from small table decorations to a large figure for the window. Choose any height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can get started straight away, with no sanding of the edges. The laser cut gives smooth, clean outlines.
  • You can recognise the bunny family at a glance, even without paint. The face and outlines are already marked with laser-scored lines.
  • Crafting in a larger group stays relaxed. The figure is available individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this bunny family makes a difference in everyday life

A shop-bought decoration looks the same everywhere. An Easter bunny you design yourself tells your own story. Crafting with children gives you more than decorations. It gives you an afternoon together. And at the end, there's something on the table that really suits your home. If you're decorating a shop counter or window, you get a design that brings a spring mood without being too much.

Material & finish

The bunny family is laser-cut in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut leaves the typical brown edge. It gives the design a clear, warm outline. It also creates smooth edges that feel pleasant in your hand and are neatly finished. The top side has the engraved outline with the face and details. The underside stays natural. The HDF is neither varnished nor stained, so paints, glues and oils adhere reliably. As a pressed fibreboard, the material shows fibres in different shades and small irregularities. This is not a flaw. It makes every piece one of a kind. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays stable even when thin.

How to use the bunny family

  • Crafting with children at the kitchen table: get the brushes out and add the paint. At the end, every child proudly carries their own Easter bunny to the windowsill.
  • On the Easter table: a small bunny family at every place. Your guests have something to smile about even before the meal.
  • As part of a gift: painted and labelled, the figure becomes a personal tag, for example when you're making a money gift.
  • In bakeries and cafés: one large figure in the shop window or several small ones on the counter. Your spring decorations are up in a few minutes, with little effort.
  • For nurseries, schools or craft groups: with sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100, everyone gets a blank. And you don't have to cut anything out beforehand.

Facts about the Easter Bunny

The Easter bunny bringing eggs is an old custom. It was already mentioned in writing in German-speaking regions in the 17th century. To this day, it's one of the most popular spring designs. That's why the bunny family works not only for decorating at home. It's also suitable for Easter baskets, small gifts and seasonal shop displays.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Store the figures in a dry place and avoid constant moisture, as the HDF is untreated. A dry cloth is all you need for dusting. That way the surface stays looking good for a long time and is ready for the next Easter season.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint or decorate the bunny family? Yes. The HDF is untreated, so it is neither varnished nor stained. You can coat it, paint it, stick things on it or oil it.

Why does the figure have a brown edge? The brown edge is created during laser cutting and is typical of this cutting method. It frames the design and also creates smooth edges.

How wide is the figure? The width depends on the height you choose. For example, at a height of 10 cm it is 7 cm wide.

Do all the figures look the same? The shape and scored lines are identical. However, the fibreboard shows fibres in different shades and small irregularities. This is a feature of the natural material and makes every piece unique.

A wooden figure is only the start. The best part is the moment your painted bunny family stands on the windowsill and spring has arrived in your home. Simply choose your height and the number of pieces you need. You design the rest.
