All you need now are MDF strips that are cleanly cut and exactly the width your design calls for. These MDF strips made from 3 mm MDF/HDF come in a length of 100 cm and a width of your choice from 1 to 10 cm – as if made for your project.

Material & finish

The strips are made from 3 mm MDF/HDF. This uniform board material gives a smooth surface that feels pleasant to the touch and takes paint evenly. Thanks to laser cutting, the edges are clean and precise – even on narrow widths. With ordinary wood glue, you can reliably join the strips into larger constructions. As this is an untreated wood material, slight colour variations may occur – this isn't a defect but makes every piece unique. Made in Thuringia, Germany.

Good to know about MDF

MDF is medium-density fibreboard: unlike solid wood, it has no grain direction and no knots. That's exactly why the strips can be worked in any direction, don't splinter when cut and take paint evenly – ideal if you want to give wall strips an opaque coat of paint or neatly varnish delicate craft pieces.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint or varnish the strips? Yes. The material is natural and untreated – you can paint it, oil it, cover it or decorate it however you like.

How clean are the edges? The strips are laser-cut, so the edges are smooth and precise, and sanding is usually not necessary.

Can the strips be joined together? Yes. Thanks to the smooth surface, you can join the strips into larger constructions with ordinary wood glue.

Are other sizes available? Yes. As well as the widths from 1 to 10 cm, we can make strips to your custom size, accurate to the millimetre, on request.

Do all the strips look exactly the same? The dimensions are identical, but slight colour variations in the untreated material are possible – a normal characteristic that makes every piece unique.
