It takes paint, glue and craft materials well. Good to know: HDF boards are made from pressed wood fibres and always show different textures. Some fibres are lighter, some darker, and there are occasional small irregularities. This is not a defect. It makes every piece unique. The cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays stable even when thin.
