Material & finish

The cutout is made of 3 mm MDF or HDF. This is a high-density fibreboard that keeps its shape and is easy to work with. Laser cutting creates the typical brown rim along the edges. It gives the motif a clear outline. The material is untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. You are free to decide whether to paint, oil or decorate it. As a natural material, the wood fibres show lighter and darker textures and may have small imperfections. This makes every piece one of a kind. The lipstick is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the MDF lipstick
