The rocket is made of 3 mm HDF/MDF fibreboard. It is laser-cut in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. This gives clean, smooth edges and a neat finish. The surface is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That's why it takes paint, glue and varnish reliably. As a pressed fibreboard, each piece shows fibres in different shades and small irregularities. This is not a defect. It makes every piece one of a kind.
