Why this tennis silhouette makes a difference in everyday life
Ready-made tennis decorations are hard to find. And they usually look generic. With the blank in your hands, you decide on the colour, club colours or names. You create something that exists only once. On a gift, on the party table or on the noticeboard in the clubhouse: the motif shows straight away what it's about. It turns ordinary decorations into personal ones.
Material & finish
The silhouette is made of 3 mm HDF/MDF fibreboard. It is sturdy enough to stand up, hang and decorate. It is also easy to work with. Laser cutting gives smooth edges and a clean finish. The outlines stay precise even in small sizes. The board is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That's why paint, glue and pens stick well. Good to know: HDF boards are made of compressed wood fibres. They always show slightly different textures. Sometimes the fibres are lighter, sometimes there are small inclusions. This is not a flaw. It makes every piece one of a kind. The cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder. It stays stable even when thin.

- For a club party or tournament: spread several figures in club colours across the tables. The party table instantly has a shared theme.
- In model making: use the silhouette as a figure in your scene. The sports ground looks lively at a glance.
- For restaurants and clubhouses: as a place card, price tag decoration or counter decoration at a sports day. Quick to set up, neatly presented and reusable as often as you like.
Good to know about the tennis motif
Tennis goes back to the French ‘jeu de paume’. In this game, the ball was originally struck with the palm of the hand. The racket only came into play later. Today the sport is closely linked with traditions such as Wimbledon. This is why the motif works so well: everyone instantly knows what it's about. At a club party, on tournament day or on a gift for tennis fans.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Store the untreated figure in a dry place and keep it away from constant moisture. Then it will keep its shape and clean surface for a long time. If you want to use it outdoors, a coat of paint or varnish protects the material.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the figure or stick things on it? Yes. The HDF comes in its natural state, so it is untreated. You can coat it, paint it and stick things on it. Paint sticks well to the surface.
Do I need to sand the edges? No. The cutout is laser-cut and has smooth edges. You can start decorating straight away.
Why don't all the boards look the same? HDF is made of pressed wood fibres. These can vary in shade and may show small inclusions. This is typical of the material and makes every figure one of a kind.
Is the figure also available in larger quantities? Yes. You can order it individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100. For example, for crafting groups, club parties or tournaments.
You get a wooden cutout. Once you've designed it, it stands on the party table or hangs on a gift. People can see that you put thought into it. Simply choose the size and quantity that suit your project.
