Mini chess board PLEXIGLAS^® – 33-piece set, laser engraved

You've made your move. Outside, the rain is drumming on the tent roof. And on the camping table, a game is far from decided. This mini chess set made of PLEXIGLAS^® is made for moments like these. It's small enough for your rucksack and sturdy enough for travel. Instead of being bored on the train, by the lake or in a holiday cottage, you have a real duel in your bag.

What changes for you

• You can take your chess set anywhere. The mini chess board measures just approx. 16 x 16 cm and fits in any bag.
• You don't have to treat the set like a raw egg when you're out and about. The weatherproof acrylic copes with travel, camping and picnics without complaint.
• You can still see the squares clearly years from now. The laser engraving is durable and doesn't fade.
• You can easily tell the two sides apart: 16 pieces in clear transparent, 16 in grey transparent.
• You add an extra dose of suspense to the game. The pieces stand on just a 3 mm wide PLEXIGLAS^® edge, so you need a steady hand.

Why this mini chess set makes a difference in everyday life

A travel chess set that really comes along changes life's little waiting times. Half an hour on the platform becomes a blitz game. A rainy afternoon in the holiday cottage becomes a small tournament. And because the pieces balance on a narrow edge, even a familiar game becomes something special. Every move takes concentration and a delicate touch. That creates exactly the calm, focused mood people love chess for.

Material & finish

The board and pieces are made of sturdy, weatherproof acrylic. So you can use the set outdoors without it getting damaged. The squares are laser engraved into the clear board. The engraving is permanent and doesn't fade. Every set is laser cut in our own production in Pößneck. We use brand-name acrylic and engrave it precisely. The clever part of this game: the pieces stand only on their 3 mm wide edge. It looks ingenious, and it turns every move into a small test of skill.
