Material & finish

Each sun is laser cut from 3 mm plywood. It is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The typical brown edge comes from the laser cutting. It gives the shape a clear, clean outline. The orange glaze is applied with care. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots still show through. This isn't a flaw. It's the mark of a real natural material: every piece is unique. Only the front is glazed. The back stays natural and untreated.
