Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The Easter table is laid and the family will be here any minute. Between the plates and napkin rings, one last warm splash of colour is still missing. With the rosewood-coloured wooden Easter eggs, you can scatter a touch of spring across the table in a few moves: warm brown, a delicate shape, real wood. Made for your festive table. And just as good for a craft afternoon with the kids or the spring display in your shop window.
What changes for you
- Your Easter table looks lovingly decorated straight away, without much work. Simply place the eggs as table scatter between dishes and candles.
- You can craft with children without worry. The stain meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
- You decorate cards, wreaths and gifts with real material instead of paper. The smooth back makes the cutouts easy to glue on.
- You stay flexible with your ideas. You choose the height from 2 cm to 10 cm in 1 cm steps – from small scatter pieces to large single eggs.
- Your decorations look consistent, because every egg is laser-cut: accurate to size, with smooth edges and the typical fine brown rim.
Why these wooden Easter eggs make a difference in everyday life
Next to plastic decorations and paper garlands, real wood feels solid and pleasant in the hand. Its smooth, rosewood-coloured surface looks down to earth. The warm rosewood tone goes with light linen just as well as with fresh greenery, and it never looks loud. And because the back is left natural, the eggs are open to your own ideas – paint them, write on them, decorate them.
Material & finish
The Easter eggs are made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This gives them smooth edges and an accurate shape, with no splinters or frayed bits. The rosewood stain on the front is applied with care. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots show through. The back stays natural and untreated. Wood is a purely natural material. Every piece varies a little in shade and texture. That makes each egg one of a kind – it is not a flaw.

How to use the wooden Easter eggs
- On the festive table: spread a few eggs as table scatter between the place settings. The table looks ready to celebrate before the first guest arrives.
- Crafting with children: let them paint or write on the natural back. Every child designs their own Easter egg, and the stain has been tested.
- For Easter cards and gifts: glue on a small egg. A simple card becomes a greeting with real wood you can feel.
- On an Easter wreath or branch: combine different sizes. This creates an arrangement with depth, where small and large eggs catch the eye in turn.
- In a bakery, café or shop: decorate your window and counter for the season. The eggs are quick to set out and made from real wood. After Easter, they are just as quick to pack away.
Good to know about the Easter egg
For centuries, the egg has been a symbol of new life and new beginnings. That is why decorating eggs is one of the oldest Easter customs of all. With these wooden cutouts, you carry on the tradition – only in a form that lasts. Your decorations will see many Easter seasons and can come out again year after year.
Care & durability
There is not much to do. After Easter, store them somewhere dry and simply dust them when needed. As the back is untreated, protect the eggs from constant moisture. That way they keep their shape and warm colour for many years.

Frequently asked questions
Are the Easter eggs suitable for crafting with children? Yes. The stain meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
Can I paint the eggs myself? Yes. The back is natural and untreated – ideal for painting, writing on and decorating.
Why do the eggs have a brown rim? The cutouts are laser-cut. The fine brown rim is typical of this process. It also gives smooth, accurate edges.
Do all the eggs look the same? Not quite – wood is a natural material. Grain, shade and small knots vary slightly and make each egg one of a kind.
Is only one side coloured? Yes. The front is rosewood-stained and the back is left natural – handy for gluing on or for your own designs.
Plywood and stain are only the start. What counts is the moment your family sits at the Easter table and the decorations look as if you had spent hours on them. Just choose your size and set quantity – the wood does the rest.
