Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Spring is just around the corner. The window still looks bare. And the table is missing that small wooden motif that brings the season indoors. A wooden dragonfly in a warm rosewood tone is made for this. Use it as a window decoration, table scatter or a hanging decoration on a branch. You choose the wingspan freely from 3 to 50 cm. So it fits your idea, not the other way round.

- You find the right size for every project, from delicate table scatter to a large window decoration – thanks to sizes in 1 cm steps.
- You can carry on creating with children by painting or gluing on decorations – the natural back takes paint and glue well.
- You decorate with peace of mind – the glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
- You save time and money on larger projects – the dragonfly is available individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.
Why this wooden dragonfly makes a difference every day
Seasonal decorations are all about small details that go together – and this motif does exactly that. On the window, on the laid table or on a branch in a vase, the dragonfly brings a light touch to the room without being overpowering. The warm rosewood tone suits natural interiors. It also fits in with colourful craft projects. And because you choose the size freely, the proportions always stay balanced.
Material & finish
The dragonfly is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives smooth, precise edges and the typical brown laser edge, which outlines the motif finely. The front has a rosewood-coloured glaze. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots still show through. The back stays natural and untreated. Wood is a natural material. Brightness and texture vary slightly, and small knots are normal – this makes every piece one of a kind. Every dragonfly is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden dragonfly
- On the window in spring: hang several dragonflies in different sizes – and the room looks brighter and livelier, even before everything outside is in bloom.
- Coffee with guests: scatter small dragonflies across the table – your table decoration has a theme without lots of arranging.
- Crafting with children: paint the natural back or decorate it with glitter – every child takes home their own little work of art.
- Hanging on a branch: hang a dragonfly on a spring branch in a vase – calm and flat on a chest of drawers or windowsill.
- In a café, farm shop or at a market stall: dragonflies in the shop window or on the counter signal the new season. They are quick to put up and easy to arrange evenly. With sets of up to 100 pieces, they are also economical for larger areas.
Good to know about the dragonfly
Dragonflies have long been seen as messengers of warm days by the water. In many cultures they stand for lightness and change. That is why the motif suits the move into the brighter season so well – as spring and summer decoration on the window, on the table or in the shop window.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do: simply dust it dry when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture, as plywood is a natural material. This way the warm rosewood tone stays looking good for a long time.
