Are you planning a themed evening on world religions? Setting up a prayer room? Or looking for a special motif to craft with? Then you'll want to show the symbol of Caodaism neatly and true to the original. This cardboard cutout shows the Eye of Cao Dai, the eye in a triangle. It is made for exactly that. It is laser-cut with a precise outline. You can choose any width from 5 to 50 cm. So you get a motif you can hang up straight away or decorate just the way you like.

What changes for you

  • You get a clean, detailed shape with no cutting out or tracing. The motif is laser-cut from the cardboard with a precise outline.
  • You decorate the eye however you like. The untreated, smooth surface can be covered, painted, coated or varnished.
  • Your decoration keeps its shape and stays upright, even with larger motifs. That's thanks to sturdy solid board in bookbinding quality, 1.2 mm thick and 755 g/m².
  • You'll find the right size for every purpose, from a small tag to wall decor. The width can be chosen from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can easily kit out groups, projects or events too. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 are available.

Why this cardboard cutout makes a difference day to day

No fiddling with templates and craft knives. You go straight to the fun part: decorating. On the wall, on the table or as part of a collage, the eye in a triangle reads as a clear, calm symbol. There are no frayed edges or crooked lines. Every size has the same precise outline. So several motifs side by side stay even and neat.

Material & finish

The solid board in bookbinding quality feels pleasantly sturdy in your hand. It doesn't warp as quickly as thin card while you work on it. The surface is smooth and untreated. Paints, glues and varnishes stick well, and you decide how the finished piece looks. Laser cutting leaves the edges brown. The board is made from 100% recycled material. Every cutout comes from our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and is neatly finished.

How to use the cardboard cutout

  • Crafting at home: paint the eye in bold colours or cover it with paper and fabric. In no time you have your own individual wall picture.
  • For worship and community: a large motif on the wall gives the room a clear focal point. Small cutouts can be placed at each seat as a sign.
  • In lessons or project work: each child decorates their own symbol. The topic of world religions becomes tangible rather than abstract.
  • For weddings, engagements, birthdays or parties: use the eye in a triangle as part of your table decoration or on a photo wall. It adds a clear, symbolic element.
  • For events and exhibitions: with sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 you can decorate whole rooms in a uniform way. There's no need to make each motif individually.

Good to know about the Eye of Cao Dai

The eye is the central symbol of Caodaism, a religion founded in Vietnam in the 1920s. There it stands for divine sight. It adorns temples and prayer rooms. As a cutout, it is well suited to projects about faith and interfaith work. It is also for anyone who feels connected to Caodaism.

Care & durability

There isn't much to do. Store the cutout somewhere dry and keep it away from constant moisture. Then the untreated cardboard will keep its shape for a long time. If you want a more resistant surface, simply varnish or paint it.
