- You can decorate with a clear conscience – as the board is made from 100% recycled material.
Why this cardboard alpaca makes a difference in everyday life
A ready-cut motif takes care of the tedious part. You get the enjoyable part: decorating it. You might be at the craft table with children, making table decorations for your next party or preparing small gifts. Either way, you have a shape that works straight away and can be transformed just the way you like. Alpacas and llamas look so alike that the same motif works for any llama idea too.
Material & finish
The solid board in bookbinding quality is 1.2 mm thick. It is stable enough to stand on its own and still easy to work with. The surface is smooth and untreated. Paint, varnish and glue stick directly, with no preparation needed. Laser cutting leaves the typical brown edges, which give the silhouette a clear outline. Every piece is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the cardboard alpaca
- At a children's birthday party: each child paints their own alpaca. At the end, they take home a keepsake they made themselves.
- On the table for a wedding, engagement or Valentine's Day: scatter small motifs as table scatter. Your table gets a lovely theme without much decorating.
- When wrapping presents: tie a small alpaca to the ribbon as a tag. The parcel looks home-made rather than shop-bought.
- In a café or at a market stall: put a large motif on the counter display or in the shop window. It suits seasonal or themed decorations and is quick to set up.
- For schools, nurseries and craft groups: in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100, you have a motif ready for every child. No cutting, no preparation.
Good to know about alpacas
Alpacas originally come from the Andes in South America. Many people see them as a symbol of calm and gentleness. That's why they turn up so often on invitations, party decorations and in children's rooms. Alpacas and llamas look almost identical. So the cutout works just as well as a llama motif for any themed party.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Store the untreated cardboard in a dry place, and it will keep its shape and smooth surface. Avoid moisture. The exception is if you seal your motif with varnish after decorating it.
