Why this Christmas moose makes a difference
Homemade decorations tell a different story from shop-bought ones. In the window, on the Advent wreath or on the table, your guests see pieces you made yourself. You can stand the moose up plain and natural. Or you can paint it in bright colours together with your children. The board is sturdy, so you can bring out your favourite pieces again next year.
Material & finish
The moose is laser-cut from solid board in bookbinding quality. That is why it has a smooth surface and the typical brown edges. They give the silhouette a clear, clean outline. The board is untreated and neatly finished. At 755 g/m² it feels pleasantly firm in your hand. Every cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the Christmas moose
- On a crafting afternoon with children: each child paints their own moose. By the evening, the first homemade Christmas decoration is hanging in the window.
- At Christmas dinner: put a small moose with a name written on it at each place. The place card becomes a keepsake your guests can take home.
- As a gift tag: a 5 cm moose on a ribbon turns plain brown paper into a gift that brings joy before it is even unwrapped.
- As a moose template: trace the outline onto wood, fabric or window paint. You can copy the motif as often as you like, always in the same shape.
- In a café, bakery or at a market stall: large moose fit into your Christmas window and counter display in just a few minutes. There is no big set-up needed.
- For weddings, birthdays or winter parties: combine several sizes to make a garland or a mobile. It looks like winter straight away.
Good to know about the moose
The moose is a symbol of Scandinavia. Hardly any other animal stands so clearly for the North, with its forests and winters. That is why it has become a popular motif for Nordic-inspired Christmas decorations. It suits simple natural decorations just as well as colourful children's crafts.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Keep the moose dry and protect it from lasting moisture, as the board is untreated. That way it keeps its shape. You can hang up your decorated pieces again year after year.
