The angel is laser-cut from 1.2 mm bookbinding board. This is a solid board with 755 g/m², the same kind used in bookbinding. That makes the cutout much sturdier than ordinary craft card. It is also less likely to warp when you paint it. The surface is smooth and untreated. The edges are brown, as is typical for laser cutting. You can paint, varnish or cover the angel, just as you like. Every piece is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The work is clean right down to the fine star cutouts.
