Material & finish

The firm solid board in bookbinding quality is 1.2 mm thick and weighs 755 g/m². It feels sturdy in your hand. It doesn't bend easily while you work on it, and it keeps its shape as part of a garland. The smooth, untreated surface takes paint, glue and varnish well. The brown edges come from the laser cutting and give each silhouette a clear, clean outline. Every cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the cardboard flamingo

• Crafting with children: each child paints their own flamingo. In the end, a colourful garland hangs in the children's room, and everyone is proud of it.
