The craft afternoon is planned and the paints are ready. All that's missing is the shape that holds everything together. This cardboard hexagram is a cleanly laser-cut cutout. You can paint it, stick things on it and hang it up. It's made for your next craft project. Christmas decorations, money gifts or table decorations for a wedding: the six-pointed star gives your idea a clear basic shape.

What changes for you

  • You start designing straight away instead of cutting out. The hexagram arrives ready laser-cut and true to shape.
  • Your decoration holds paint, glue and varnish reliably. That's thanks to the untreated, smooth surface of the 1.2 mm bookbinding board.
  • You'll find the right size for every project. Choose a height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can craft with a clear conscience. The solid board is made from 100% recycled material.
  • You can plan larger projects without reordering – with sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this hexagram makes a difference in everyday life

A good blank takes the most tedious job off your hands: cutting evenly. Instead of struggling with scissors and a ruler, you just get started. In the end, the stars in your window all have the same clean shape. Every star has the same form, whether in the Advent window, on a garland or on the laid table.

Material & finish

This solid board in bookbinding quality has a grammage of 755 g/m². It feels noticeably sturdy in your hand. It doesn't warp as easily as thin card while you work on it. The surface is smooth and untreated. You can paint it, stick things on it, coat it or varnish it. The paint adheres directly to the material. The brown edges come from laser cutting. They give every cutout a clean, even edge. The hexagram is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the hexagram

  • Crafting with children: every child paints their own star. Bit by bit, a colourful Christmas gallery appears in the window.
  • Making money gifts: stick folded notes or photos onto the star. The envelope turns into a gift you'll enjoy handing over.
  • Making an Advent calendar: number 24 small hexagrams and hang them up. December gets a face of its own.
  • For a wedding or engagement: use it as a lettered place card or as a tag on the guest favour. Every place at the table looks lovingly prepared.
  • In a café, shop or at a market stall: large stars from 30 cm work as window or counter decorations. Quickly lettered, quickly changed, with little effort.

Good to know about the hexagram

The hexagram is formed from two overlapping triangles. It is one of the oldest star symbols of all and is known, among other names, as the Star of David. As a classic star shape, it suits Christmas decorations and window decorations. It also fits festive occasions all year round.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Store the board dry and flat, and it will keep its shape. Avoid constant moisture and wet conditions. Untreated cardboard is intended for indoor use. A coat of paint or varnish makes the surface more resistant.
