The craft table is ready: paints, glue, paper. And the children are already waiting impatiently. All that's missing is a sturdy base that works for every idea. These cardboard squares with rounded corners are made from 1.2 mm bookbinding board. They're just right for your next crafting afternoon. Use them as a firm painting surface, a base plate for decorations or the base for money gifts. Loose ideas turn into finished little works.

What changes for you

  • You can start straight away without cutting anything yourself. Every square is laser-cut and arrives with smooth edges.
  • Your craft projects keep their shape and stay stable. That's thanks to the solid board at 1.2 mm thick and 755 g/m². You can glue onto it, paint it and varnish it.
  • You'll find the right size for every project. Choose from 3 x 3 cm to 50 x 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • Crafting with children is more relaxed. The corners are rounded, so there are no sharp points.
  • You can craft with a clear conscience. The board is made from 100% recycled material.

Why these cardboard squares make a difference every day

A good base often decides whether a craft project works or warps and buckles. With a firm square as the base, collages, place cards and display stands look calmer and more finished. That's true at home, on a buffet or at a shop counter. You create, the board stays put.

Material & finish

The squares are made from bookbinding board. That's the same solid board used for book covers. The smooth surface takes paint, paper and fabric reliably. Laser cutting gives clean, smooth edges with no finishing needed. Every cutout comes from our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cleanly finished and cut to the size you choose.

How to use the cardboard squares

  • Crafting with children: each child gets a square to paint on. At the end, a little gallery hangs on the pinboard.
  • Making money gifts: fold the notes, stick them on the square and decorate with paper and ribbon. It's a gift people will remember from the wedding or birthday.
  • Making Christmas decorations: paint several sizes, stack them or hang them up. Your Advent table gets a homemade look.
  • For a Mother's Day or Father's Day gift: arrange photos and keepsakes on the firm square. That's your collage, and it won't bend.
  • In a café, at the bakery counter or at the weekly market: write on the squares and use them as price tags or notice boards. They're quick to make, look uniform and are easy to replace when needed.
  • As a mat or base plate for table decorations at an engagement, on Valentine's Day or at a party: candle arrangements and figures stay steady in place.

Good to know about bookbinding board

Bookbinding board gets its name from its traditional use for book covers. That's exactly where a material has to keep its shape for years. The same firmness makes it a reliable base for crafts. Whatever you stick or paint on it keeps its shape.

Care & durability

There's not much to do. Store the squares dry and flat, and they'll stay even and keep their shape. Avoid constant moisture – untreated board likes it dry.

Your legal guarantee rights

EU notice “Legal guarantee”: Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods do not match the description or do not function as intended. Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer free repair or free replacement; in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code or ask the seller: europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees. What to do if you receive non-conforming goods: 1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue. 2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement. Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
