The invitations are out, but the garland is still missing. You need a base that works whether you paint, glue or write on it. This cardboard disc with two holes side by side is made for your craft table. It is a sturdy, smooth surface of bookbinding board. You can pull ribbon or string through the holes. A plain disc becomes your tag, your name card or your decoration – just as you imagine it.

What changes for you

  • You can start crafting straight away without cutting anything yourself. Every disc arrives cleanly laser-cut in the size you want.
  • Your paints, papers and pens hold well. The smooth, untreated surface can be glued, painted and varnished.
  • Simply thread ribbon or cord through the two holes. Then hang up your decorations for a wedding, birthday or party right away.
  • Your craft projects keep their shape. The 1.2 mm solid board is much sturdier than ordinary card.
  • You can craft with a clear conscience. The board is made from 100 % recycled material.

Why this cardboard disc makes a difference in everyday use

Many decorating ideas fail because of the material, not a lack of imagination. It is too thin, too wavy or too fiddly to cut. With a firm disc as your base, your project goes more smoothly. You get to create instead of struggle. And because all discs are made to the same standard, a whole row of tags or signs matches in the end.

Material & finish

The disc is made of 1.2 mm solid board in bookbinding quality. This material is known for its strength. It keeps its shape even after painting or gluing. The surface is smooth. The laser-cut edges are brown and cleanly finished. Every disc feels firm and flat. It is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, from 100 % recycled material.

How to use the cardboard disc

  • Before the wedding: write your guests' names on small discs and pull a cord through the holes. Every place at the table is marked with care.
  • For a birthday: thread several discs onto a string to make your own garland. It matches your colour scheme exactly.
  • Crafting with children: paint, glue, hang up. The firm board copes with eager little hands, and the result can proudly go in the window.
  • For gifts: use the plain disc as a tag on a wedding money gift or a Valentine's present. It turns into a personal message.
  • In a shop or café: write prices or varieties on the discs and hang them on shelves or the counter. Your goods are neatly labelled, and setting up is quick.

Good to know about bookbinding board

Bookbinding board is traditionally used for book covers. That is exactly where a material has to stay stable and flat for years. This helps you when crafting. Your tags and decorations do not warp easily. They stay in good shape through the celebration, transport and storage.

Care & durability

There is not much to do. Store the discs dry and flat, and they will keep their shape for a long time. The board is untreated, so avoid moisture. Or varnish the surface if your decorations need to withstand a bit more.

Frequently asked questions

Is the material sustainable? The board is made from 100 % recycled material and is produced in Thuringia.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods do not match the description or do not function as intended. Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer free repair or free replacement; in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code or ask the seller: europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees. What to do if you receive non-conforming goods: 1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue. 2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement. Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
