Why this cardboard Christmas tree makes a difference in everyday life
Decorations you make yourself feel different from shop-bought ones. They tell of an afternoon together at the kitchen table. Of small hands holding brushes. And of ideas that really suit your home. A sturdy basic shape makes this more relaxed, because you can focus fully on designing. The Christmas tree comes in many sizes. So it works on a present just as well as in the window or above the buffet.
Material & finish
The sturdy solid board in bookbinding quality feels good in your hand. It can take several layers of paint or glued-on elements. You can stick things on it, paint it or varnish it, just as you like. The smooth surface gives a clean result when painting. The laser-cut brown edges frame the shape in a calm, natural way. Every Christmas tree is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. How to use the Christmas tree
- Crafting with children: Everyone designs their own tree with paint, glitter or paper. In the end, a garland full of one-offs hangs in the children's room.
- For your Christmas post: Tie a small painted Christmas tree to the gift ribbon. Grandma's parcel becomes something special.
- On the festive table for Christmas, a birthday or a winter wedding: Place one at each seat as a name tag or place card. Your guests have something to discover before the first course.
- In cafés, bakeries or at market stalls: Thread several trees onto a string. In just a few minutes you have seasonal decoration for your shop window or counter. It's quick to hang up and easy to store flat after the season.
- At school, nursery or craft group: With sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100, every group has enough identical blanks. No hours of cutting out beforehand.
Good to know about the Christmas tree
The decorated Christmas tree has been part of German Christmas tradition for centuries. To this day it is the symbol of Advent. That is exactly why the silhouette works so well as decoration. Even the simple shape instantly creates a Christmas mood. In the window, on a present or above the shop counter.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Store the cutouts in a dry place and keep them away from moisture, as the cardboard is untreated. That way the shape and surface stay in good condition for a long time. And you can bring out your decorated trees again year after year.
