Ludwig van Beethoven wooden silhouette – black, 3–50 cm

A small thank-you for the piano teacher, a card for a concert visit or a motif for the music room. Sometimes you need exactly that one profile everyone recognises straight away. With this black wooden profile of Ludwig van Beethoven, you have it in your hands. It shows the composer's distinctive silhouette, laser-cut from plywood and ready for your next craft idea. Glue it on, paint it or simply stand it up. The motif works from the very first moment.

What changes for you

• You'll find the right size for every idea. The Beethoven profile is available from 3 cm to 50 cm high, in 1 cm steps.
• You can get started straight away, with no sanding needed. The edges are laser-cut, smooth and precise.
• Your motif keeps its depth and character. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots still show through the black stain.
• You can design the back just the way you like. It's natural and untreated, ideal for painting or writing on.
• You save time and money on larger projects. The profile can be ordered singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this Beethoven profile makes a difference

A printed motif can quickly look flat. A wooden cutout has weight and a texture you can feel. On gift wrapping, on a card or on a shelf, the wooden profile shows at a glance what it's about: music and one of the best-known classical composers. Your guests, pupils or customers recognise the silhouette at once. You don't need to explain a thing.

Material & finish

The profile is made of 3 mm plywood. This makes it light yet stable in your hand. The front has a carefully applied black stain. The back is left natural, so you can cover it or decorate it however you like. The cutout is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The typical brown edge comes from this process and subtly frames the silhouette. Wood is a natural material, so every profile shows its own grain and small knots. This is not a flaw. It makes every piece one of a kind.

How to use the Beethoven profile

• When making birthday or Christmas cards for music lovers: glue on a small profile, and the card instantly has a theme people love.
• As a money gift for a concert visit or a passed music exam: attach the note to the profile, and an envelope becomes a gift with a wink.
• In music lessons or at music school: use the silhouette as a craft template or an award. This makes the topic of composers tangible for children.
• As decoration in the music room, on the piano or on the sheet music shelf: stand up a large profile, and the room shows what matters to you.
• For music shops, concert offices or cafés with piano evenings: placed in the shop window or on the counter, the motif makes the theme visible at once. Decorating with larger quantities is quick, too.

Good to know about Ludwig van Beethoven

Ludwig van Beethoven is one of the best-known composers in the world. The melody of his “Ode to Joy” from the 9th Symphony is now the European anthem. That's why his silhouette, with its distinctive hair, is recognised almost everywhere. This makes the profile a rewarding motif for gifts and decorations around music, concerts and lessons.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: an occasional wipe with a dry cloth is enough. Protect the profile from constant moisture. The untreated back then stays stable and the black surface keeps looking good for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Is the back black too? No, only the front is stained. The back is natural and untreated. That's ideal if you want to paint it or cover it.

Where does the brown edge come from? The profile is laser-cut. The brown edge is typical of this process. The laser also gives you smooth, precise edges.

Why doesn't every profile look exactly the same? Wood is a natural material. Different shades, grain patterns and small knots are normal. This is exactly what makes every piece one of a kind.

Can I paint or decorate the profile? Yes, it works as craft material for all kinds of decorations. You can decorate it, paint it and design it, especially on the natural back.

A wooden cutout is only the start. What counts is the moment someone unwraps your gift, recognises the silhouette straight away and smiles. Simply choose your size and quantity. You design the rest.
