Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Your music room still needs the right motif. The concert invitations look too plain. And the gift for the piano teacher should show something that suits the occasion. This black wooden profile of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is made for exactly that. It is a clear silhouette of the composer that you can stand up, stick on, paint or give away. This gives everything to do with music in your home a recognisable face.
What changes for you
- You set a musical theme straight away when crafting and decorating – because Mozart's distinctive profile is recognisable at first glance.
- You'll find the right size for every project, from a small card to wall decoration – thanks to a height you can choose from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You can glue, sew or paint the back however you like – because it is left natural and untreated.
- You don't need to finish the edges – the laser cut gives smooth, precise edges with the typical fine brown rim.
- You order exactly the quantity you need – singly or as a set of 10, 25, 50 or 100. That works for a school class, a music school or a club party too.
Why this Mozart profile makes a difference in everyday life
A theme only comes together when one motif runs through it: on the invitation, at each place setting, on the wall. The black silhouette gives you that common thread for concert evenings, music lessons or gifts. It is calm, classic and takes little effort. Instead of searching for suitable decorations, you have a motif that speaks for itself.
Material & finish
The profile is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood in our own production in Pößneck. This gives smooth edges and a precise shape, with no finishing needed. The front has a black stain. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots may still show through. So the character of the wood stays visible and every piece is one of a kind. The back is left natural and takes glue and paint well.

How to use the Mozart profile
- Before the music school concert: stick a small profile on each invitation card. Even before the first note, everyone knows what the evening is about.
- When making money gifts for music lovers: put the silhouette on a gift tag. A plain envelope becomes a thoughtful gift.
- When crafting with children in music lessons: each child paints and decorates their own profile. At the end, they take a piece of their favourite lesson home with them.
- In a music shop or a café with piano evenings: arrange several sizes in the window or on the wall. You get a clear, consistent look that is quick to set up and lasts a long time.
- At home in the living room or music room: a large profile from 30 cm above the piano. Calm in expression, classic in shape, without being intrusive.
Good to know about Mozart and the silhouette
In Mozart's lifetime in the 18th century, silhouettes were a popular form of portrait. Profile silhouettes of the composer himself have survived too. This motif takes up the classic style of his time. That makes it a good fit for concerts, music lessons and gifts for lovers of classical music.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do: simply wipe off dust with a dry cloth. Avoid constant moisture, as plywood is a natural material. Stored dry, the profile keeps its shape and the black surface keeps its calm look for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Is the profile black on both sides? No, only the front is stained black. The back is left natural and untreated – ideal for sticking things on or painting.
Can I paint or decorate the profile myself? Yes, it works well as a craft supply. The untreated back takes paint and glue, and you can also decorate the stained front.
Why does the edge have a brown rim? This is typical of laser cutting. The laser also gives smooth, precise edges without splinters.
Does every piece look exactly the same? The shape is precise, but the wood underneath is a natural material. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots may shimmer through the black stain. That makes every piece one of a kind.
How wide is the profile? The width depends on the height: at 10 cm tall it is 7.5 cm wide. Other sizes scale accordingly.
A piece of black plywood can start something special. Your guests open the invitation, recognise the motif and already look forward to an evening full of music. Simply choose your height and quantity – you design the rest.
