Material & finish

The puzzle piece is made from 3 mm birch plywood in our own production in Pößneck. We lacquer the raw boards ourselves in anthracite on both sides. The water-based satin lacquer lets the wood grain and small knots show through. This is not a flaw but the nature of a natural material. Wood is sometimes lighter, sometimes darker, and that is what makes every piece unique. Laser cutting gives smooth edges and a clean finish that you will enjoy for a long time.
