The puzzle piece is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It is laser cut and painted in colour on both sides in our own production in Pößneck. The colourless, satin water-based varnish protects the surface and lets the natural wood grain show through. Wood is a purely natural material. It varies in shade and can show small irregularities or knots. That makes every piece unique. It is not a defect but part of its character.
