Here at Bütic, we lacquer the raw boards in colour on both sides ourselves, in our own production in Pößneck. On top, there's a clear, satin-matt water-based lacquer that leaves the wood grain visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. This isn't a flaw – it's exactly what makes every piece one of a kind. The laser cut gives smooth edges and precise shapes, with no frayed edges at all.
