Wooden puzzle piece – chestnut, lacquered both sides, 3–50 cm

The wedding is getting closer, and you're still looking for a guest book idea that will really last. Or you're planning a crafting afternoon where everyone goes home with something real in their hands. A wooden puzzle piece in a warm chestnut shade is made for this. You can write on it and combine it with others. Its dark brown tone stays quietly in the background. So a simple wood cutout becomes a keepsake, a decoration idea or a building block for your next DIY project.

What changes for you

• You can start writing, painting or gluing straight away. The surface is smooth and has a satin lacquer on both sides.
• Your guests, children or customers hold a piece of nature in their hands. The clear lacquer keeps the grain and small knots visible. Every piece is one of a kind.
• You get exactly the size your project needs. Choose from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps, singly or as a set.
• Your pieces fit together cleanly and look neat. Laser cutting gives smooth edges and accurate dimensions.
• You work with a light material that is easy to handle. 3 mm birch plywood is simple to work with.

Why this puzzle piece makes a difference every day

On the wall, on the gift table or as a name tag at each place: the dark chestnut brown looks warm and understated at the same time. It suits almost any interior. Instead of identical mass-produced items, you have a natural material with a grain that looks different on every piece. The natural wood grain makes your decorations and craft ideas your own – with very little effort.

Material & finish

The puzzle piece is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It comes from our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. We lacquer the raw boards ourselves on both sides in the chestnut shade. The clear, water-based satin lacquer lets the wood grain and knots show through. The pieces are laser cut. This gives smooth edges and clean, accurate cutting. Wood is a purely natural material. It varies in lightness, shows different textures and may have small blemishes or knots. That is exactly what makes each piece one of a kind. It is not a flaw, it is character.

• For crafting with children: paint them, stick things on, hang them up. Thanks to the lacquered surface, the finished work lasts.
• As a name tag or place card on the laid table: put a piece with a name at each place. Your guests find their seat and take home a small keepsake.
• In a café, a shop or at the market: with prices or product names written on them, the wooden pieces help organise your counter. They look natural and are quick to swap.
• For team events and farewells at nursery or school: everyone designs their own piece from the set. Put together, they make a shared keepsake.

Good to know about the puzzle piece

Few shapes stand for togetherness like the puzzle piece. Only when all the pieces fit together do you see the whole picture. That's why it works especially well for occasions where many people create something together. Think of a wedding guest book, a farewell gift from colleagues or a group project at nursery.
