The puzzle piece is made from 3mm birch plywood. In our own production in Pößneck, it is lacquered in colour on both sides. An additional clear, satin, water-based lacquer lets the wood grain and small knots show through. This makes every piece one of a kind. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness and texture vary slightly. Small irregularities in the grain are normal and not a defect. They are part of the character of the material. Laser cutting gives smooth edges and a clean finish with no reworking needed.
