We lacquer the raw boards in colour on both sides ourselves, in our own production in Pößneck. A final clear, satin-matt water-based lacquer protects the surface and keeps the natural grain visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Small knots, differences in shade and fine structures in the grain are normal. They are not a flaw – they make every puzzle piece unique.
