Every puzzle piece is made from 3 mm birch plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. We lacquer the raw boards black on both sides ourselves. On top goes a clear, satin-matt water-based lacquer. It lets the wood grain and small knots show through. The surface feels pleasantly smooth and still looks natural. Each piece is unique. Small differences in grain and shade are not a flaw. They are what makes wood a natural material. Laser cutting ensures smooth edges and a clean, accurate finish.
