We lacquer the raw boards in colour on both sides ourselves, in our own production in Pößneck. The final clear, satin-matt water-based lacquer keeps the grain and knots visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Lightness and texture vary from piece to piece, and small knots are normal. This makes every puzzle piece one of a kind and is not a defect.
