Care & durability

Frequently asked questions

Are the squares painted on both sides? Yes. Both sides are painted dark pink and also sealed with a colourless, satin, water-based lacquer. This is ideal for tags and decorations that are seen from both sides.

Do all squares look exactly the same? No. Wood is a natural material. Grain, shade and small knots vary slightly and stay visible under the clear lacquer. This makes every piece unique.
