The square is made from 3mm birch plywood and laser-cut. This gives smooth edges and a clean, precise result. We varnish the raw boards ourselves on both sides in a cherry shade, in our own production in Pößneck. The clear, satin, water-based varnish leaves the grain and knots visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, small irregularities in the grain and knots are normal. This is what makes each square one of a kind – no two pieces are the same. The cutout is intended for indoor decorative projects.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood consists of several layers of veneer glued crosswise. This makes it stable despite its thickness of only 3mm. It warps much less than solid wood of the same thickness. Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. If needed, simply wipe the square with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid constant moisture and outdoor use. This way, the satin varnish keeps its calm, well-kept look for a long time.
