We lacquer the raw boards on both sides in light walnut ourselves, in our own production in Pößneck. The water-based satin-matt lacquer lets the natural wood grain show through. Small knots and variations in shade are part of wood as a natural material. They make every piece unique and are not a defect.

Good to know about birch plywood
