The square is made from 3 mm birch plywood and laser-cut. This gives clean, smooth edges and precise shapes you can use straight away. We lacquer the raw boards in colour on both sides ourselves, in our own production in Pößneck. The water-based satin lacquer leaves the grain and small knots visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness and texture vary from piece to piece. Small irregularities in the grain are normal. They make every square unique and are not a defect.
