This gives you accurate shapes and smooth, clean edges, so no splinters get in the way while you craft. We paint the raw sheets in colour on both sides ourselves. The satin water-based paint lets the wood grain and small knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness and texture vary from sheet to sheet, and small irregularities in the grain are part of it. That's what makes every square unique – not a flaw, but a feature.
