With the Gastro pear wood ring binder board, you simply file menus, notes or manuscripts in the silver ring binder mechanism. You can turn the pages without any of them falling out. The warm pear wood look turns loose sheets into a board that looks made for your counter or your desk.
What changes for you
- Your pages stay in place, even when they are turned a lot. The ring binder mechanism holds every sheet securely.
- You present your menu or daily specials neatly and consistently. The smooth pear wood look surface is sealed twice with clear lacquer.
- You always have a secure hold on the board, or you hang it up within easy reach. The grip hole is designed for both.
- You can write comfortably even when standing. The 3 mm birch plywood makes a stable, flat writing surface.
- You choose exactly the format you need – A3, A4 or A5, each in portrait or landscape.
Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day
Loose sheets, dog-eared corners, misplaced pages: none of this happens when your documents are firmly filed and can still be turned freely. On the restaurant table, the menu lies tidy and within reach. At the lectern, your manuscript stays in the right order. On your desk, everything important is in one place. This keeps things running calmly, at work or at home.
Material & finish
The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood in our own production in Pößneck. It is sturdy and robust, yet pleasantly light in the hand. The pear wood look surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear lacquer. This keeps it looking good for a long time in daily use. Wood is a natural material. Differences in shade, small knots and fine structures in the grain are part of it and make every piece one of a kind. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. If you like, we can agree on the direction with you.

How to use your ring binder board
- In a restaurant or café: file your menu and daily specials. Your guests hold a menu holder that suits the style of your venue. Swapping individual pages takes just seconds.
- On stage, in the studio or at the lectern: file your script, presenter notes or speech and turn the pages calmly. No page slips out, and you keep your flow.
- In the office: use it as a writing board with filed checklists or forms. You have everything important together, even when you move between your desk and a meeting.
- In the workshop or warehouse: thanks to the grip hole, work instructions and logs hang on a hook within easy reach. They are quickly to hand on your rounds.
- At home: recipes, notes or documents kept in order in one place. No more loose scraps of paper on the kitchen table.
Good to know about birch plywood
Plywood is made by gluing several thin layers of wood together crosswise. This means it warps much less than a solid board and stays dimensionally stable even when thin. That is why the ring binder board, only 3 mm thick, reliably holds your documents. It is still light enough to pick up every day.
Care & durability
There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer finish, a slightly damp cloth is enough to wipe the surface. Avoid prolonged moisture. This way the board keeps its well-kept pear wood look for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Is the ring binder board suitable for restaurants? Yes. The surface is sealed twice with clear lacquer and can be wiped with a damp cloth. The mechanism holds menus securely. You can swap individual pages in a few simple steps.
Can I choose the format? Yes, the board is available for DIN A3, A4 and A5. Each comes in portrait or landscape format.
Why does every board look slightly different? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary. This is exactly what makes every piece one of a kind.
Can I choose the direction of the grain? The grain can run horizontally or vertically, because we plan our cuts to minimise waste. If agreed in advance, we are happy to align the grain as you wish.
Is engraving possible? Yes, on request we can engrave the board with a logo or text. Ideal for restaurants, hotels or companies.
This is about more than a board with a ring mechanism. It is about the moment your guests open the menu and everything is in its place. Simply choose your format and whether you prefer portrait or landscape.
